On Thursday October 9, Howie Hawkins will take a citizen-led tour of fracking sites in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Hawkins will be joined by former Binghamton Mayor Matt Ryan. Hawkins invites members of the media and Governor Andrew Cuomo to join him. The tour will begin at Susquehanna County Courthouse in Montrose, Pennsylvania at 11am on Thursday. Hawkins will hold a press conference in Binghamton at 2:30 pm at Government Plaza at 33 W. State Street after the tour to share his findings. 

The citizens tour will be led by Vera Scroggins of Susquehanna County who will take Hawkins and those in attendance to meet with families whose land, water and health have been negatively impacted by drilling operations in Pennsylvania.

We will be meeting at Nezuntoz Cafe on 50 Pennsylvania Avenue Binghamton, NY at 9:45 am to take a 30 person van down to Susquehanna County for the tour. So please be sure to RSVP because it is first come first served!!!
