Jill Stein, the Green Party presidential candidate in 2016, will do a series of campaign events on Friday (Oct. 5) and Saturday (October 6) in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany to help build support for the gubernatorial campaign of Howie Hawkins and the Green comptroller candidate Mark Dunlea.

Howie Hawkins is a retired Teamster promoting a progressive agenda of a Green New Deal/climate action, single payer health care, education reform and good government. Hawkins finished 3rd in the 2014 race with 5% of the vote.

Mark Dunlea is a long-time anti-poverty and climate change activist callng for the state to divest its pension fund from fossil fuels.

Howie and Jill will be joined by Green Party Comptroller candidate Mark Dunlea as well as local Candidates Danilo Lawvere (State Assembly - District 146) and Wade VanValkenburgh (Mayor of Lockport).
